The Energy Upgrade California rebate can be a useful tool for home owners pursuing “net zero energy” or simply working towards greater comfort, efficiency and overall performance of their homes. The program is designed to use predicted energy saving values to rebate measures considered valuable energy savers. The rebate requires baseline testing and well designed and installed measures to qualify. It requires that the projects be implemented by a participating Energy Upgrade California contractor and is subject to field quality assurance review. Qualifying projects can receive rebates up to $6500!
An initial consultation at no cost to the home owner is often conducted prior determining which rebate track is most appropriate. The measures being considered and the motivation of the home owner will be assessed. This can prevent the home owner from paying for costly testing that may not be needed.
Zero energy Associates is currently not participating in this program.
